ONE SHOT - Contestant Backstory Packages
The idea was to create a backstory package for each of the final 8 contestants in each city - showing who they were, where they came from, and what they were fighting for in this competition. Visually, we wanted each package to be connected to the individual stories each character brought to the series. The segments had to feel different from the traditional shooting and pacing styles expected from competition-type series.
KILLISON COURSE
Dealing with actual crime stories, unable to use real names and places, and, with no access to actual crime scene evidence or criminal documents, this series forced us to think about how we could create a doc / true-crime feel with scripted content.

When following a master of their trade, so much of what they do is inside their own head. For a series largely about that very process - we created animated blueprints and visuals by hand to align with Charlie’s proud and traditional methods.
